She has an independent side and is perfectly content entertaining herself, but she also enjoys being close to her people and soaking up affection on her own terms. She can be a little shy when faced with new situations and may take a moment to assess things before jumping in, but once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines through.
Like many thoughtful puppies, Nellie can be a bit anxious at times and finds comfort in carrying a favorite toy in her mouth. You’ll often see her proudly trotting around with her little “security toy,” which seems to help her feel confident and secure. It’s one of her most endearing traits!
Overall, Nellie is a gentle, sweet-natured puppy who would thrive with a family that appreciates her sensitive spirit and will continue to build her confidence through patience, encouragement, and love.
